I spent the last week in Donetsk, Eastern-Ukraine for the Norwegian daily, Aftenposten together with journalist Helene Skjeggestad.
We were stuck for two days in the Ukrainian bureaucracy, so we only got to spend about 48 hours in Donetsk. When I was there in December, the situation was much more calm. Now, the shelling was quite intense on large areas across Donetsk region, making the situation for the civilians very difficult with a lot of casualties. It also made our working conditions more challenging. Here are some of the pictures and videos we made:
