National memorial ceremony in Oslo

Today I was one of two photographers for scanpix who was the only one allowed to take photos during the national memorial ceremony for the victims of the two July 22 attacks that killed 77 people in Oslo and on Utoeya island. The terror attack has been te worst loss since World War Two. Here are the photos I took on July 22. The ceremony to day was very powerful and beautiful. As our king Harald said: "We will keep their memory alive".
Photo essay: Skar

This is a photo essay I did last year about house occupants in Oslo. I spent some days with a group of young people who occupied a old, abandoned military facility in Oslo, called Skar in Maridalen. They where hoping to be allowed to stay there and rebuild the old houses and create an environmentally farm. After a couple of weeks they where thrown out by the police.
