Tornado in Oklahoma

On May 20, a tornado struck Moore, Oklahoma, killing 24 people and injuring 377 others. It was a compact area that was struck, but the strong tornado ripped apart everything in its way. I was sent there by VG to cover the story, but when I had arrived there after a long flight from Oslo, the situation had stabilized a lot and I was sent home after a short while in the field. Even though thousands of families lost everything, it's beautiful to see their hope shine through. The first thing that they did was to hang up the american flag. Here are some of the pictures I took from the short stay:photocrati gallery

New York Times has a series with what to do if you have 36 hours in a city. Now it was Oslo's turn.I was so luck to be able to travel around in Oslo and be a tourist in my own city. A great assignment! Here is the story.photocrati gallery

Bosten Marathon Bombings

It has been some very intense days here in Boston which I have covered for VG . Four people have been killed and over 170 has been wounded. In a dramatic chase last night, Dsjokhar Tsarnajev where captured alive. His brother where killed in the chase with the police. As Dsjokhar where carried away, the crowd cheered. Earlier in the day, 9000 police officers had searched around in Watertown for Dsjokhar. Around the house where he was captured, people gathered on Sunday to watch as the FBI searched the crime scene.photocrati gallery
