We also visited the remains of Donetsk International Airport which was one of the most modern airport in the whole region when it was finished in 2012. Now it's just an empty shell, with heavy fighting going on between the Russian-backed rebels and the Ukrainian army. The story was first published in Dagbladet Magasinet.
