The first 24 hours of the horrific terror attack at Regjeringskvartalet and Utøya in Oslo, Norway on Juli 22 when Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people.
45 of 5 million
During the last year I have made 45 video portraits of interesting people in Norway. This was a series in the newspaper VG and was featured with a new portrait every weekend for one year until we reached million people here in Norway. This is a selection of some of the portraits I made.
Taxi Gaze
In the city of Kolkata in India more than 15 million people lives. The city is famous for their yellow taxis, the Ambassador. In 2000 it was over 30.000 taxis in the city. I tried capturing the different faces that hides behind the ambassador of Kolkata.
The monks fight for democracy
A story about the political prisoners in Burma that have spent many years in prison after fighting for democracy. In the dictatorship ruled country of Burma, the monks have become a symbol of hope for the people. Now they finally can see a glimpse of hope. A hope for democracy.
